Last week Chad went to visit Makenna's class at daycare and read them a few books. Here is a video clip of him reading "Buzz Buzz Busy Bees," one of Makenna's favorite books. All the children seemed to enjoy it, except for Makenna. We don't think she liked sharing her books and her dad with the other children!

Superbowl Sunday

On Superbowl Sunday, Chad and I had my family over to play Rock Band, have some "super" snacks, and watch the big game! Chad made some delicious barbecued meatballs, layered Mexican dip, hummus with chips, and veggies and dip. Here are a few pics from the event.

SNOW DAY!!!!

Today we got to stay home from work due to the terrible ice & snow storm that came through last night and this morning. We took advantage of this winter wonderland and took Makenna (and Bode) outside to play in the snow! We tried to coax Murphy outside to play with us too, but he just wanted to stay inside where it's nice and warm. We all had a great time. Check out the pics and videos!!

Daddy pulled Makenna around the church yard in her sled. We found a pile of snow covered dirt we considered having her sled down, but we decided it was too steep.


We ended up making a little ramp of snow off our back patio, and Makenna had a great time sledding down it!
